Bazpur is a city named after a former Chand king, Baz Bahadur . It belongs to district Udham Singh Nagar in the state of Uttarakhand, India. Bazpur is well connected with the industrial city of Rudrapur and the historical city of Kashipur. World famous hill Station Nainital and the first wildlife reserve of India Corbett National Park are at 58Km. and 80 Km. respectively from Bazpur.

Bazpur has the historical achievement of possessing the first co-operative sugar mill of the State which was dedicated to the nation by Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru. It went into production on 16th February 1959.The cooperative movement was one of the first concrete step taken by Government towards reviving the rural economy. 

Its successful operation brought a new enthusiasm in state and consequently other new co-operative sugar mills were established . In year 1976 its Distillery Unit was established.Thousands of people directly or indirectly got employment in sugar factory and its distillery unit.
